Wisdom Keepers Directory

The ones who know that breakdown can become breakthrough

In every culture, in every era, there have been people who could sit with darkness without flinching. Who understood that madness might carry medicine. Who knew that the most overwhelming human experiences often contain the deepest wisdom. They are at home in liminal space — the threshold where the old has dissolved and the new has not yet arrived.

Where most people look away, they lean in: curious, steady, unafraid of the in-between. They often are less visible, but they have presence. They go first, into the difficult terrain, so others don’t have to be alone. Quietly, without recognition, they do the work of Wayfinding.

A directory is being created and will exist to find them and connect them.
You may already know you are one. Or this may be the first time someone has offered you that mirror.

Wherever you are — you belong here

Wisdom Keepers Directory

This directory is a slowly growing network of people who can remain present with difficult human experiences without rushing to fix, label, or suppress them.

Some are therapists, physicians, artists, guides, family members, or people with lived experience. What connects them is not a title, but a capacity: to meet altered states, crisis, and transformation with steadiness, humility, and care.

This is not a public marketplace or promotional directory. It is a curated network of people who resonate with the spirit of Wisdom of Psychosis and understand that breakdown can sometimes also be a doorway.

Applications are reviewed with care. Inclusion is based not on ‘work experience’, but also on alignment, integrity, and the ability to relate.

Why this directory exists

Sometimes the most important work happens quietly, at the edges. This directory exists to make those people a little more visible, for others to refer and to help those seeking support find their way to them.

Are you the Seeker, Ally, or Wisdom Keeper?

In Wisdom of Psychosis, Anneke Sips introduces a new concept: post-psychotic growth — the profound transformation that can emerge from the most overwhelming altered states. Not despite them. Because of them.

This quiz helps you find your place in that journey. Are you the one who lived it? The one who accompanies others through it? Or the one who has been quietly guiding people through these waters for years?

It takes 2 minutes to find out + to be in the directory that is being created.

The Seeker

You have lived something overwhelming: trauma, psychosis or something there is no language for. You are not looking to be fixed — you are looking for a place to rest, or a map, some guidance for your unique path.

The Ally

Someone you love has walked through the fire. Or you work alongside people who do. You know there is more to offer — and you want to learn more about how.

The Wisdom Keeper

You have been doing this work (quietly), at the edges, for years. You understand that the most difficult experiences often carry profound medicine. You (start to) feel you wish to share your wisdom with others.
